Hatchery

Just a working title @ this point, but here is the latest idea for the hatchery. I think the Dome is worth enforcing, while really pulling the architecture of the room into the mix. The holes are for tactile access- now thinking they might emit sound when a hand enters them. Ico's ibot might live here in the small dome of A- will be talking to him shortly. This will be fabricated with komatex light grey (a 20% or so grey that I think would be good to paint the space- or at least the angled wall).

on the wild side-eyebot prototype

This is an example of Ico prototype eyebot. I believe it will be running though some of the materials as a uniforming thread. However anyone is welcome to clarify that for me.

Projection Placement Refinements

I have some refinements to the projection placements that speak to the architecture a bit more- using the space, sight lines and angles more effectively.

Fluid examples

This is one of the examples I did last summer on fluids. I am creating some more this month as well as June. I would like to combine them with some of the animated creatures. If any one has a take on how they would like to incorporate this into an animated piece or I could try in a crude way to make this a viable interactive piece.

Projection Placement

Allow me to out do you Ico with and even quicker-and-dirtier set of images. We thought this would be a good placement of our elements. I am going to ask if we can add a light barrier partition to reduce light pollution from the entrance (good thinking Simone!)The long wall (hall/entry side) is still open. We also have a projector... and work from Joy- Simone and Joy are going to develop a video for this, the sixth visual element to the exhibition.

arm-pit-bot (or something like that)

Here's a quick-n-dirty-work-in-progress-screen-grab of the arm-pit-bot action (NB: the movie has a 3x4 aspect ratio that is apparently disliked by the World'o'Webby Web 2.0, hence if you do not wish to lose your eyesight trying to decipher what the heck those little pixels at the bottom of the screen are, you may want to click on the video and watch it directly via YouTube, or better yet, download a 16MB Quicktime by clicking here). Promo image

This is the latest promo image. The picture show the team members and the project REVO/OVER as it stands at the end of summer 2007.
A lot has changed but I still think we need to use the model created by Dane - but get
rid of the pop corn critters.

Ball Robot Rebuild

My remodel of Ico's robot- it might have too big of a poly count to use in papervision 3D for flash but it looks OK.
