The bots look good- color will show up well. As I mentioned, the short throw projector seems to more or less stay in focus regardless of distance from surface to lens- we tested this on a 10 curve over 48x60 in @ about 35"- fantastic that it held the image! I dont know too much more as that was pretty much it w/ experimenting, but might suggest the background be kept as bright as possible- like white as apposed to the texture you have in this image.
